Description

Develop novel RF and GPS communications hardware and devices for the intelligence community. Design and implement RF transmitter and receiver hardware, through board-level integration of RF components, FPGAs and embedded processors.

Develop and integrate novel RF components and GPS subsystems to enhance the performance of current prototype devices. Support evaluation of prototype devices through bench and field testing. Document work in formal technical reports and informal memoranda. Present work to sponsors and the technical community.


Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent. Strong oral and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and demonstrated ability to work as a part of a multi-organizational team.

Desired: Experience in Microwave/RF integrated circuit design. Familiarity with circuit and electromagnetic design software, such as SPICE, ADS, SONNET and ANSOFT. Familiarity with board layout tools such as ORCAD, Eagle or Mentor. Willingness to work on quick-reaction projects in support of the sponsor's operational requirements.
